In a pressure cooker with medium heat, pour oil and add bay leaves, star anise, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon sticks, fennel seeds, green chili, and saute until it turns aromatic

Add onions and saute until it turns soft

Now add the ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt, and saute until the raw aroma leaves. And then Add chili powder and give a nice mix

Now add the tomatoes and saute until they turn mushy

Add the mint leaves and give a quick saute

Now add the broken wheat/daliya split  and give a nice mix

Add water, coriander leaves, and give a final stir

Close the lid of the pressure/rice cooker with the regulator on and cook for 4 whistles. Switch off the heat and allow the pressure to release naturally
